Clean the overhead lights

Do you even look at the ceiling lights and see little spots that look like dead bugs? For us it was little styrofoam balks from the roof insulation.

How can I clean this?

I had tried untwisting off the covers, both the silver trim ring and the glass. But they would come off.

Turns out you can pry the lens off with your fingernails easily.

Just pop them off.

To replace, just pop them back off once you clean them out. Don’t forget to wipe down the chrome ring to get the shine back!

All clean now!

Eventually we will replace these LEDs as I noticed many of the diodes are very dim.
